Nvidia Logistics Risk and Security Program Manager in Santa Clara, California

NVIDIA has an incredible opportunity in our Global Logistics Solutions Group to build and optimize our logistics security, risk management, and resiliency programs focusing on preventing theft, diversion, damage and/or losses and protecting materials while in the hands of our logistics suppliers. Perform logistics network risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and proactively establish mitigation plans. This role involves working closely with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory departments to maintain compliance, mitigate risks, and uphold ethical and legal standards in logistics activities. What you'll be doing:

  • Develop risk-based security programs as well as maintaining and continuously improving those programs. This includes piloting and rapidly growing security solutions and processes, crafting standards and other specifications

  • Stay trained and informed about local, national, and international regulations governing logistics and transportation security procedures, keep team members informed and processes current

  • Ensure that all logistics operations enforce dangerous goods shipping regulations, documentation, training and training records

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the efficiency of compliance measures, including conducting and deploying risk assessment methodologies specifically tailored to address current and foreseeable risks within the logistics and fulfillment environments, scenarios, and use cases. Develop and implement solutions to mitigate them.

  • Conduct due diligence audits to assess the security of potential or existing business partners and vendors in the areas of transportation, storage, logistics and distribution

  • Provide training and support for cross functional Security and Loss Prevention teams, as well as supply chain, logistics, and transportation operations.

  • Follow up on the definition and implementation of corrective action plans as needed

  • Provide direct input to the relevant internal customers and operational teams on high risk new business initiatives

  • Quarterly and yearly review of logistics supplier ISO and C-TPAT and DG Verifications/Compliance

  • Support preparing logistics third-party supplier , customer and internal audit criterias , and presentations applicable to compliance for logistics (warehouse/transportation/DG)

  • Develop strategy for Logistics cargo and warehouse insurance liabilities with NV Corp Risk Mgmt teams and drive improvements and visibility on risk/loss liabilities

  • Res ponsible for Global Supplier Corrective Action and Global Claim Risk Management processes

    What we need to see:

  • 8+ years hands on experience in leading, developing, detailing , and implementing global logistics security and risk management solutions

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience .

  • Current k nowledge of warehouse and transportation security industry standards a must ! ( e.g. TAPA, AEO, C-TPAT)

  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of leadership within the organization; drive consensus regarding new solutions , policies and procedures and make independent decisions supporting best in class security and risk mitigation strategies

  • Must have worked in high value global tech supply chain environment

  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methods is desired

  • Strong project management skills and tools to effectively coordinate and lead efficient complex timely projects

  • Attention to detail collaborator with good organization and interpersonal/written communication skills.

  • Functional knowledge in developing, implementing, maintaining , and leading global logistics security policies and procedures; experience with conducted physical security risk assessments of different parts of supply chain is preferable.

  • Knowledge of air and warehouse cargo insurance policies

The base salary range is 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
