Carrier Cloud Operations Consultant in Santa Catarina, Mexico

We are seeking a motivated individual with a drive to be on the cutting edge while helping change the culture towards a more nimble and agile methodology leveraging next generation cloud technology platforms.

  • Deploy world class technology and streamlined processes to improve the global commercial Digital Technology environment.

  • Oversee a large portfolio of operational activity

  • Participates in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews to drive progress.

  • Create documents that specify strategy, assessment, or design in a way that delivers obvious value to the client and is understandable by any stakeholder

  • Articulates architectural differences between solution methods and the challenges and approaches to integrating solutions built on different platforms including a working knowledge of different architectural frameworks that may be used by our clients

  • Experience with automation to deploy and manage infrastructure, database and networking architectures for Internet-scale applications

  • Good understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban and other agile architecture techniques

Technical Skills Desired

The successful candidate will have strong organization and communication skills with a background of delivering infrastructure projects of varying technologies in an enterprise environment. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Active Directory and AWS platforms is required.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Help to define hosting strategy and solutions leveraging enterprise and cloud environments that align with business entity objectives

  • Deploy world class technology and streamlined processes to enhance the global commercial Digital Technology environment.

  • Coordinates and reports operational metrics on a recurring basis (week/month/quarter)

  • Identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.

  • Raises and tracks issues and conflicts, remove barriers, resolve issues of medium complexity involving partners and call out to appropriate level when required.

  • Assesses a variety of situations and provide transparency to team and partners.

  • Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with clients, internal delivery partners, and external vendors.

  • Solicits and responds to feedback while gaining dedication and support.

  • Identifies training requirements and devises training programs to ensure operational readiness

  • Stays up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technology.

  • Coordinates with management to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the team are being carried out in accordance with regulatory standard methodologies.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations & support

  • Demonstrates strong technical aptitude, project management, and communication skills

  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment with a global team.

  • Experience working with managed service provider models.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, works well with teams and managing conflict

  • Highly-motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively lead efforts including the delivery of complex projects with multiple stakeholders

  • Demonstrates proficiency in IT areas of analytical thinking and innovation

  • Demonstrates leadership and collaboration skills, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, environment

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrates ability to perform root cause analyses

  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL principles and ITSM

  • Current understanding of industry trends and methodologies
