As a Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance, you will support corporate development and finance analytics. You'll work closely with our CFO, head of Strategic Finance, and head of Investor Relations. Your primary responsibilities will be financial analytics to help the company make better decisions on where to make investments. This will include creation of Excel-based models to assess New Business Initiatives, and building relevant analysis to build business cases for presentation to the Executive team. What You'll Do Creating and maintaining forecast operating models for our New Business Initiatives (NBI's) Work with Product & Go-to-Market to build respective business cases Develop our competitive analysis muscle and understanding of Macro + Micro trends Develop our Data driven decision making ability and use this in support (or to challenge) our potential NBI's (New business initiatives) Scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making Provide competitive intelligence and insights related to peer group financial and operating results Assist in preparation of materials and analysis to support the quarterly earnings process Monitor and distribute sell-side analyst research notes to internal leadership Compile and organize quarterly sell-side analyst financial models Assist with development and maintenance of investor relations website content and presentations Assist with special projects and other ad-hoc analysis as needed Assist in Corp dev by supporting; market analysis, diligence, acquisition modeling What You'll Need Basic qualifications: Bachelor's degree from a top university Minimum 1 years investment banking experience from a top tier bank Strong analytical, financial modeling and presentation skills Preferred qualifications: Sell side or buy side, equity research or investment banking experience Highly developed interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization; judgement and maturity when interacting with senior leaders of the Company Highly self-motivated and proactive by nature A knack for taking ownership of complex problems and generating potential solutions Technology industry experience a plus At Sonos we consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may lead individual compensation to vary depending on job related qualifications, skills, and experience. All full time employees are eligible for merit increases, discretionary bonuses, and equity. Our job postings may span more than one career level and the base pay range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions. The starting base pay for this role for all US candidates is between: $113,000 and $126,000 Please note that compensation details listed in US job postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
