Banc of California User Access Provisioning Specialist (Temporary Position for up to 90 days) in Santa Ana, California

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Identity & Access Management lead, the User Access Provisioning Specialist administers system access for employees, vendors, consultants, contractors, and external users; ensuring work is completed accurately and timely in adherence with established policy, procedures, guidelines, and defined service levels. This person also participates in security audits and reviews, implementation projects, bank acquisitions, and training projects as required. Performs all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and manages departmental access request queues (ticketing system).

  • Administers system access for employees, vendors, consultants, contractors, and external users, including:

  • Analyzing access requests to ensure each request is appropriate and conforms with established business roles, groups, or profiles.

  • Provisioning user access requests in a timely manner in accordance with established policy and procedure.

  • Revoking user access for terminated employees in a timely manner in accordance with established policy and procedure.

  • Resetting user passwords.

  • Creates and configures new application profiles and modifies existing profiles based on approved business requirements.

  • Works with other IT teams, business units, and vendors to troubleshoot and remediate system access issues.

  • Participates in implementation projects as required.

  • Participates in application security audits by providing artifacts in response to audit request.

  • Participates in bank acquisition projects as required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum of 1 year Help Desk experience or equivalent

  • Preferred: Experience using Active Directory Users & Computers (ADUC) or other user access administration tools.

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with ability to assist multiple customers, systems and requests

  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to maintain good working relationships with IT, business units and vendor partners

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Ability to work after normal business hours as required

  • Quick learner who is easily able to understand new products, systems, applications and technologies

  • Role requires sitting or standing in front of a computer monitor for prolonged periods of time in a fixed neck position.

  • Constant use of a computer or other office equipment resulting in repeating motions of the hands and wrists.

  • Light work that may include moving objects up to 20 pounds.

SALARY RANGE: $62,400.00 - 72,800.00 USD; Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
