Job Title: Maintenance Technician III
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician III, you will use your knowledge, skills, and effort to safely install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will also utilize preventative maintenance processes on all production equipment to maintain minimal interruptions to production. You will utilize Lean tools (RCCM, 5-whys, A3, etc.) to improve downtime trends and reduce costs as needed. In addition, you will work with limited supervision and assist with the training and development of Junior Technicians. The shift for this role is from 2:45pm to 11:15pm.
Responsibilities
Safely install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
Utilize preventative maintenance processes on all production equipment to minimize interruptions.
Use Lean tools such as RCCM, 5-whys, and A3 to improve downtime trends and reduce costs.
Work with limited supervision and assist in the training and development of Junior Technicians.
Essential Skills
Injection mold troubleshooting
Electrical maintenance
Mechanical maintenance
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read mechanical blueprints.
Ability to read pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
Intermediate to full ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing equipment.
Ability to program robots using software or interactive programming techniques.
Ability to perform robot PMs, troubleshoot failures, and implement repairs.
Experience maintaining and programming programmable logic controllers (PLC) and computer process controls.
Intermediate to full ability to identify root causes and make recommendations for improved operations.
Proficiency in operating maintenance equipment including hand and power tools.
Computer skills to use Smart Maintenance CMMS.
Successful completion or demonstration of knowledge in at least five of the following courses/certifications/licenses: DC/AC Electricity, high voltage paneling, Electrician’s license, PLC, controls, mechatronics, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Motors and Controls.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sanford, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00
