We're currently on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Accountant, uniquely experienced in Big-4 or public accounting practices, to bring their expertise, leadership and strategic thinking to our eclectic team.
Responsibilities:
Manage accounting operations, including general ledger, billing, receivables, payables, treasury, budgeting, tax functions, revenue recognition and intercompany transactions.
Coordinate and complete annual audits.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
Lead and manage accounting staff and functions, coaching and developing the team.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA license required.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the Big-4 accounting firms.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
Strong working knowledge of tax and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and projects in a demanding environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong analytical and advisory skills.

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Demonstrable experience in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations
• Proficiency in working with General Ledger and making Journal Entries
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Previous experience in a Big 4 Accounting Firm is preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required
• Proficiency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software is desirable
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
