VCA North Atlanta Animal Hospital is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team!

About Us

Our AAHA-accredited primary care practice is located in City Walk, in the heart of Sandy Springs just north of Atlanta. We provide Primary Care, Dentistry and Surgery for canine and feline patients, open Monday through Friday 7:30am - 5:30am, Saturday 8am - 3pm, closed Sundays.

About the Role

As LVT, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

  • Compassionate patient care

  • Client education and care

  • Venipuncture and catheter placement

  • Radiology and diagnostics

  • Lab sample collection and processing

  • Surgical preparation and assisting

  • Anesthesia monitoring

  • Dentistry

  • Medication preparation and administration

  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint

  • Medical recordkeeping

Basic Qualifications

  • Georgia Veterinary Technician license (LVT) or eligible to apply and receive license upon hire

  • Able to proficiently perform veterinary technician duties including those listed above
