Job Title: Experienced CNC Machine Operator

Location: Sandusky, MI

 

Shift:

  • 1st (Mon - Thurs 6:30 am -- 4:30pm)
  • 2nd (Mon - Thurs 4:30 pm -- 3:00 am)
  • Frequent Fridays (8 hour shift) and Saturdays (6 hour shift)
  • Approximately 40-55 hours per week

     

Pay:

  • 1st shift: $18.33
  • 2nd shift: $18.83/hr
  • Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit or Pay Card
  • Over Time (1.5x): After 40 hrs/wk
  • Weekly Pay!

Job Description:

*Operate Metal Fabrication Machines: *Set up and operate CNC machines, lathes, presses, and other fabrication equipment to produce high-quality metal components based on technical drawings and specifications.

*Precision Measurement and Quality Control: *Utilize tape measures, micrometers, and calipers to measure and verify parts to ensure they meet precise tolerances. Perform quality control checks throughout the production process and make necessary adjustments to maintain high standards.

Machine Setup and Maintenance: Set up machines for various production runs, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and tool setup. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues to minimize downtime.

Read and Interpret Blueprints and Technical Drawings: Follow detailed blueprints and production instructions to fabricate parts that meet customer specifications, ensuring all dimensions are met accurately.

Material Handling and Organization: Manage raw materials, parts, and tools, ensuring proper storage and inventory levels. Maintain an organized and clean work area in accordance with Emerson's safety and cleanliness standards.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry safety regulations.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to improve production processes, troubleshoot issues, and meet or exceed production goals. Participate in ongoing training to enhance your technical skills and knowledge.
