Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: Sandusky, MI

Shift:

  • 1^st^ (Mon - Thurs 6:00 am -- 4:30pm)
  • 2^nd^ (Mon - Thurs 4:30 pm -- 3:00 am)
  • Frequent Fridays (8 hour shift) and Saturdays (6 hour shift)
  • Approximately 40-55 hours per week

Pay:

  • 1^st^ shift: $16.91/hr
  • 2^nd^ shift: $17.41/hr
  • Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit or Pay Card
  • Over Time (1.5x): After 40 hrs/wk
  • Weekly Pay!

Job Summary:

As a global leader in technology and engineering, this facility is seeking a highly skilled Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team in Sandusky, MI. Job Description:

  • General assembly processing procedures according to blueprint and SOP standards.
  • Basic blueprint reading and understanding of BOM's and Routers.
  • Tests and calibrates components and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Handle small parts, screws, and components with precision, ensuring accurate assembly and quality control.
  • Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble product according to product specifications.
  • Identifies product that fail tests or tolerance levels and may repair as necessary.
  • Perform changeover of tools, fixtures and test setups.
  • Complete data entry (production numbers, scrap numbers, etc.)
  • Observe established safe working, housekeeping procedures and promptly correct and / or notify supervisor of any hazardous situations.
  • All supplemental duties, responsibilities, or non-essential requirements as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years Assembly Experience
  • Ability to measure parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions and blueprints.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, especially when handling small parts and screws.
  • Punctuality, positivity, team player attitude
  • Ability to lift up to 25-30 lbs unassisted and stand for up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to submit to background check and drug screening
  • Must own a pair of steel toed boots or steel toed shoes
