Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a Machine Operator to take up an exciting role involving the operation of extrusion and converting machines. The successful candidate will handle preventative maintenance and quality control of plastic bags, refilling the extrusion feeder with plastic pellets and maintaining the production line in conjunction with the packer. The role involves working with plastic sheets that are heated, melted, and expanded to form plastic bags, and then cut and printed based on customer needs. Moreover, the Machine Operator will be in charge of refilling their machine with ink, maintaining bag quality and proper ink viscosity. The role also includes using a pallet jack to bring rolls to line and reload the machine. The successful candidate will be provided with a 5-week training period, during which they will work closely with the maintenance team on major repairs.
