Are you passionate about engineering and ready to take on a technical leadership role? Entrust Solutions Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer/Senior Technical Lead to join our team. This role is pivotal in guiding our engineering disciplines and ensuring our staff are prepared for successful project and program execution.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer/Senior Technical Lead, you will lead and mentor engineering design teams, providing technical guidance on medium and large complex projects. You will apply your extensive knowledge of engineering principles to diverse gas utilities project assignments involving control systems, making authoritative decisions that impact design outcomes. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with Project Managers and technical management to enhance processes and designs. Maintaining high technical expertise is essential, and you will identify training needs and organize relevant programs to ensure continuous learning. Building and sustaining relationships with key engineers and officials in other organizations will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring our practices align with current standards and innovations. You will also implement and monitor quality control systems in line with ENTRUST’s policies. Additionally, you will lead the training and development of engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

In this role, you are enabled to be at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and utilizing tools such as, Microsoft Copilot, bespoke AI workflow tools, and an IT team dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation to enhance our operations and drive efficiency. All employees can engage with the Digital Transformation Team to support the integration of new tools and following employee ideas to drive success for the business.

This is a remote opportunity, based anywhere in the western US, with a preference for California and Colorado (or the willingness for travel to these locations). Required Qualifications:

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited university

  • 12+ years of relevant work experience

  • Working knowledge of P&ID

  • In-depth knowledge of HAC and be able to develop a HAC designation

  • Must understand grounding and how to layout grounding at a site

  • Working ability to develop one line and three line diagrams and electrical schematics

  • Ability to layout raceways, wireways, conduit, duct banks and cable trays

  • Working knowledge of Transformers, MCC and Switchgears

  • Industrial design experience and knowledge of electrical equipment

  • Ability to perform Load flow, short circuit and understand motor starting concept

  • Thorough knowledge of protective relays

  • Experience developing technical specifications for equipment

  • Working knowledge of NEC

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of ETAP, SKM software for Arc Flash studies is a plus

Benefits & Salary:

  • This position pays between $135,000 and $175,000 annually and is an exempt position.

  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.

  • Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.

  • May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
