Description
One of our clients in the San Ramon area is looking for a Public Tax Accountant for a contract to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Handle tax compliance for high-net-worth individuals and partnerships
• Utilize QuickBooks and Tax software for tax planning and compliance
• Process and manage E1040 forms efficiently
• Maintain updated and accurate tax records for clients
• Resolve tax-related inquiries from clients promptly
• Monitor tax accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Prepare and review partnership tax returns
• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Work towards achieving CPA certification, if not already certified
• Act as a reliable point of contact for IRS enrolled agents.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Public Staff Tax Accounting.
• Proficiency in Public Accounting Tax is required.
• Must have substantial experience with QuickBooks.
• Experience in handling High-net-worth individual accounts is a plus.
• Experience in preparing Partnership Tax Returns is necessary.
• Candidates who are CPA Eligible or possess a Current CPA License will be given preference.
