Citigroup Field Sales Regional Manager - C14 - SAN PEDRO GARZA GARCIA in San Pedro Garza García (Jesús María), Mexico
The Field Sales Regional Manager is a senior management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to execute against key portfolio strategies in coordination with the Consumer Sales team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of support services to Citi clients and to drive management teams to meet sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Manage a staff of Regional Managers that oversee Sales Representatives team including, developing goals and responsibilities, assisting Regional Mangers in monitoring results, and assessing the effectiveness of Sales Representatives and Regional Managers in the field
Develop product level strategies for the Partner consumer and commercial products to ensure delivery of financial plan
Lead internal cross functional teams and partner to execute against key portfolio strategies
Manage credit goals at regional and district level and communicate results and best practices
Partner with Regional Partner management to develop and execute tactics that support Partner and regional credit goals, such as sales, new accounts, associate development, and developing and implementing store coverage strategy to meet Partner guidelines
Engage in hiring activity for senior level roles in the sales organization and make decisions about salary adjustments and promotions for other staff
Manage field execution of credit initiative and achievement of established goals as well as ensure Sales Representatives receive proper training, coaching, and career development
Collect and present market intelligence around best practices, customer feedback, and market competition in assigned region, and facilitate business development opportunities within the region
Develop and manage cost center budgets and expenses, develop and maintain relationships with partner associates and customers, and ensure timely reply and resolution to escalate credit issues and concerns
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience
Previous experience managing a Field Sales team or organization required
Experience within the sales/credit field required
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Demonstrated employee development and mentoring skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Ability to work with various levels of management
Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
