Job Title: Concrete Machine Operator
Job Description
Operate equipment efficiently to produce concrete products from raw materials to yard stage. Inspect the quality of products according to standards and assist in maintaining accurate production records. Monitor the operations of machinery and associated equipment to detect and report malfunctions. Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and other functions associated with job changes. Maintain a clean and orderly work area and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors. Willingness and ability to cross-train on other aspects of the production process are required.
Responsibilities

Inspect the quality of products according to standards.
Assist in maintaining accurate production records.
Monitor machinery and equipment to detect and report malfunctions.
Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and functions associated with job changes.
Maintain housekeeping in a clean and orderly fashion in assigned area.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or lead operators.
Willing and able to cross-train on other aspects of the production process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Manufacturing/industrial environment exposure preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent or at least 1-year experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.
Initiative to keep all areas clean and safe.
Follow applicable housekeeping and safety procedures.
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds with assistance if needed.
Provide assistance to others in moving heavier or bulky objects.
Must wear personal protective equipment - earplugs, hard hat, steel toe shoes, and protective glasses.
Maintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work assignments.

Work Environment
The work environment is loud and dirty, requiring attention to detail. It is team-oriented and involves both indoor and outdoor work. Employees are required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. The first shift operates from 3 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays for overtime.

This is a Contract position based out of San Martin, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
