Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an Electrical Maintenance Technician, responsible for installing, troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing production equipment and electrical components. This role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, determining corrective actions, and performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure that production machines operate at an optimal level. You will inspect drives, motors, belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and execute other maintenance actions according to checklists. Additionally, you will replace faulty parts including electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards, dismantle equipment to remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools, and lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation. You will also operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete tasks as assigned, and review and comprehend blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs. Moreover, you will operate all production machines to some degree to better understand machine capabilities.

Hard Skills

  • 5 years of maintenance experience

  • Working knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanics, and Electrical principles

  • Manufacturing and/or Industrial environment experience

Soft Skills

  • Ability to follow detailed checklists and maintenance protocols

  • Skill in using hand and power tools effectively

  • Capability to read and comprehend technical documents such as blueprints and repair manuals

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Martin, California.

Work Environment

This role is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic.
