Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician who will be responsible for maintaining food safety systems on the production line. This role involves ensuring that all packaging work meets standards, completing necessary paperwork, and overseeing the production team to ensure everything runs smoothly. The manager is willing to train a suitable candidate who shows initiative during the interview.
Responsibilities
Maintain food safety systems on the production line.
Complete and manage necessary paperwork.
Inspect and check off on production team members' packaging work.
Ensure all production processes meet established standards.
Supervise and lead the production team, ensuring smooth operations.
Assist with computer work, including basic Excel and Word tasks.
Help develop and teach training programs for new production team members.
Essential Skills
1.5+ years of basic quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
Critical thinking skills, particularly in training on measurement tools.
Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment is a plus.
Familiarity with PH Meters and other quality assurance tools is beneficial but not required.
Preferred: 1+ years of direct food and beverage quality assurance experience.
Experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance is also applicable.

Work Environment
The environment is climate-controlled, and you will be walking around the facility, interacting with 20-25 production team members. The work hours are 5am-4pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional mandatory overtime. The dress code includes closed-toe shoes, t-shirts, pants, and optionally a jacket. A hair net is required in certain areas.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
