Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Experience owning product definitions, system engineering aspects, and customer design-in activities/support in addition to applications engineering responsibilities.

  • A broader background that includes defining customer requirements and system-level solution engineering is highly desirable, though not required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in applications engineering or a similar technical role, preferably within the power electronics industry.

  • Proven IC product pipeline experience, with demonstrated ability to independently own technical deliverables for product introductions, including datasheets, application notes, and PCB layout guidance.

  • Strong understanding of high-performance analog and digital circuitry and customer system architectures.

  • Proven ability to design and build hardware, including experience with PCBs and power electronics components.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with power electronics simulation tools (e.g., SPICE) is a plus.
