Enable solutions for the Cloud and Mobile market segments, by reviewing designs, answering customer questions and debugging problems. Develop and deliver technical presentations and customer training. Work with customers to attain design wins and qualifications of Micron Memory products in their applications with Micron products and technologies (DRAM modules, NAND, eMMC, UFS, LPDRAM). Provide technical support to customers and the field sales force. Support applications advice, product recommendations, device testing and updating at customer site, material management, technical problem resolution, and quality issue resolution. Visit and contact customers to determine their needs for new products and/or features. Work with factory marketing and applications engineering to resolve feasibility of specific new products, packaging or features. Submit or respond to product specification and technical/quality questionnaires submitted by customers. Collect and compile product performance data at end customers. Balance and facilitate on-site verification activities performed by sub-contractors.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and five years of experience in the job offered or in a Field Application Engineer-related occupation. Position also requires experience in:

  1. Design, manufacturing, and operation of DRAM components, NAND components, and their derivative products

  2. Design, manufacturing, and operation of NAND components and their derivative products

  3. Working with customers to identify business opportunities and understand end customer's product requirements, applicability, and compatibility with the Micron products

  4. Working knowledge of Client (i.e. laptops, desktops) and Server computer system architecture

  5. Working knowledge of Mobile (i.e. cell phones, tablets) system architecture

  6. Product quality and reliability capabilities and processes that support the quality and reliability expectations of end customers including both Mobile and Server customers

  7. Project management and time management including building detailed customer qualification plans and aligning them to product roadmaps in order to drive fast and efficient qualifications of products at end customers

  8. Interpersonal skills that allow for communication across multiple regions, customer contacts, and internal teams in order to support revenue generation and end customer needs

  9. Ability to utilize software programming to support debug tool development for customer issues

The US base salary range that Micron Technology Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $180,823.00- $314,000 per year
