EPAM Systems SAP Business Consulting Manager in San Jose, California
For remote work in New York City only.
We are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled SAP Business Consulting Manager to lead our SAP engagements and be a trusted advisor for our customers in SAP transformation projects. You will lead the global project teams and initiate and oversee the implementation of various SAP products.

Responsibilities
Communicate the business values of SAP solutions to our clients and demonstrate how the design and system architecture help achieve their business goals
Provide technical expertise and architecture guidance in SAP configuration, customization, and integration
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data privacy regulations in all project activities
Foster collaboration between SAP consulting and engineering teams
Be accountable for functional and technical leadership, future-proof architecture, and meeting quality standards
Proactively gather feedback from key business users, understand business and system gaps, make recommendations, and lead the implementation of enhancements
Participate in pre-sales activities
Deliver customer projects from inception to completion
Manage the design and deployment of integrated end-to-end solutions
Prepare estimations for project time frames, budgets, resource quantities, and quality attributes
Establish a strategy of continuous delivery and measure and improve delivery productivity
Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with EPAM's processes and methodologies
Act as a single point of responsibility over any delivery-related matters for top management and clients, including escalations, upsells, and ramp-downs
Build delivery timelines for multiple streams, analyzing internal and external dependencies
Coordinate the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work
Manage customer expectations and relationships, addressing issues in collaboration with account managers
Ensure governance of processes as per the selected delivery model
Build and manage a team of SAP experts, providing them with guidance and support
Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and foster a culture of continuous learning within the SAP team
Work with Architects and Project/Delivery Management teams to analyze, design, build, test, and efficiently implement SAP solutions using top talent
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Fluency in English
8+ years of extensive experience in SAP consulting and engineering with a focus on SAP S/4HANA implementations
In-depth knowledge of SAP product portfolio, architecture, configuration, integration, and customization
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Excellent leadership skills with a successful track record of managing SAP teams and delivering complex projects
Proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a passion for staying updated on the latest SAP technologies and industry trends
High-level understanding of SAP products capabilities, functionality, and technologies: SAP S/4HANA (Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing), SAP SCM, SAP CX, and others
Solid knowledge of SAP and non-SAP project methodologies (SAP Activate, Agile, etc.)
Profound knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration and implementation approaches
Hands-on experience in governing project delivery across the board of all stakeholders
Proven ability to establish solid working relationships with clients and work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team
Advanced planning and management skills
Considerable experience in onshore, nearshore, and offshore outsourcing and delivery models

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $95K - $170K.
