In sourcing and procurement at PwC, you will focus on optimising sourcing and procurement processes to drive cost savings, supplier collaboration, and supply chain resilience. You will work closely with clients to analyse sourcing strategies, identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimization, and develop strategies to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness. Working in this area, you will also provide guidance on implementing strategic sourcing frameworks, supplier relationship management, and digital procurement solutions.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader by the following:
Helping companies review operations, improve Procurement processes, and optimize operating models;
Facilitating strategic sourcing activities and methodologies;
Understanding of Strategic Sourcing, Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Digital Procurement. Procurement knowledge could include direct spend management (e.g. - Food & Beverage, Apparel, Hospitality), indirect spend management (e.g. - Packaging, Logistics, Back Office), cost reduction program design and implementation, category management, vendor negotiations, supplier management, and demand management. S2P knowledge could include operating model design, process review and improvement, implementing S2P technology along with optimizing activities (developing catalogs, establishing buying channels, enabling suppliers, etc.);
Improving Procurement capabilities or experience directly managing products and/or services in a dynamic environment to improve client needs;
Demonstrating experience with spend analysis, development of category and commodity strategies, market analysis, conducting RFx processes in a cross-functional environment, supplier selection, and supplier implementations including;
Using Source-to-Pay (S2P) technology landscape and offerings including; SAP Ariba, Coupa, iValua, etc.;
Contributing to procurement, spend, and commodity analysis with the ability to deliver insights on Procurement & Sourcing opportunities and improvement areas;
Identifying and addressing client needs with a focus on Procurement and Sourcing functions;
Creating a positive environment in a team setting while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members;
Demonstrating ability to provide and receive candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner, and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues;
Supporting business development opportunities by developing persuasive proposal materials and working with remote and cross functional team members; and,
Communicating compelling value propositions (written and verbal).

The salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $232,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
