Power Integrations Facilities Technician & Mailroom Administrator in San Jose, California
Facilities Technician & Mailroom Administrator
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this position will be responsible for general facilities work for a business site supporting 300+ employees. This position is also responsible for the pickup and delivery of mail and packages among post office, company buildings and inter‑office locations. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Facilities Technician duties:
Perform material handling
Perform inventory and light building maintenance
Ongoing inspection and record keeping of building/office space maintenance needs, including all onsite areas
Monitor incoming customer requests for maintenance
Assist in special event coordination
Assist in moving furniture and painting as required
Mailroom Administrator duties:
Act as a courier for messages, documents and packages for in-house deliveries
Sort and distribute mail
Prepare outgoing US mail, FedEx and UPS, weighing, calculating postage and posting letters and parcels; record postage charges and renews postage meter as required
Deliver copy paper to various copy machine areas; maintain printer and general supplies
Stock department refrigerators with sodas and water
Provide general administrative support, and other projects as assigned
Receptionist Support to Relieve Receptionist as needed:
Answers, screen, and transfer calls
Greet visitors upon arrival and connect them with the appropriate party
Requirements:
High School Degree, Associate degree or equivalent is preferred
Minimum of 3+ years in a related position in the electronics industry
Excellent written communication and telephone skills, MSWord, Excel
Professional, courteous and service minded
Ability to multi-task
Clean DMV record mandatory
Must be customer service oriented
Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay: up to $ 47,899 per year commensurate with experience.
