We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to join the Storage Business Unit’s Data Center SSD team.

The person fulfilling this role will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing key customer relationships within the data center SSD market!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.

  • Manage and grow relationships with key customers and partners.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Lead negotiations and close deals with customers and partners.

  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform business strategy.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the technology industry, preferably in the SSD or data center market.

  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business development strategies.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with data center customers and understanding their unique needs and challenges.

  • Knowledge of SSD technology and the data center market.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$163,000.00 - $338,500.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
