About the Role

This position is responsible for managing and analyzing all Non-Merch Revenue P&L line items at Athleta, as well as leading the monthly forecast and annual budget submissions. This role also supports the annual operating plan, long-range plan, and various P&L monthly/quarterly analyses. You will provide key insights and guidance to our business partners and brand leadership team, by supporting various strategic initiatives and analysis. In this highly visible role, you’ll collaborate, influence, and strategize with different functional areas within the brand, and you will be responsible for leading several key financial performance management activities for Athleta. This role is critical to the success of strategically growing our Omni (Stores + Online) channel so we’re looking for an individual who is extremely analytical and super attentive to detail, a strong relationship builder, and motivated to drive results. This position reports to the Manager of FP&A.

What You'll Do

  • Effectively manage and analyze non-merch revenue P&L line items for forecast and budget submissions

  • Identify and research variances to forecast, budget and prior year income/expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and collaborating with others on a solution

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization

  • Support the monthly forecast submission, annual budget submission, annual operating plan, and long-range plan in partnership with brand and corporate business partners

  • Support executive level presentations, such as the Annual Budget Review and Monthly Forecast Reviews

  • Assist in preparation of presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made

  • Share critical weekly, monthly, and quarterly P&L analyses with finance and omni channel leaders highlighting key performance indicators and trends at the channel and market level and support ad hoc performance analysis intended to contribute to ongoing growth in various channel segments

Who You Are

  • Self-starter that anticipates problems, identifies opportunities, and provides creative solutions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface with and influence all levels of management

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance or related fields, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility

  • Advance Excel skills required, and finance modeling skills preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, MBA a plus

  • Experience with a large high growth consumer company a plus

  • eCommerce/Omnichannel or apparel experience a plus

  • Knowledge of Oracle financial systems, Anaplan, and Essbase/Hyperion a plus

Salary Range: $90,600 - $120,200 USD

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
