Wells Fargo Senior Lead Analytics Consultant in SAN FRANCISCO, California

The Consumer Digital Insights team is looking for seasoned analyst to provide reporting, analytics, strategy and insights to support Authentication and Identity Management partners. Ideal candidates will have Digital experience transforming data into insights, communicating complexities to partners with various levels of analytic concepts. As a senior role, a high level of independence and task management will be needed, often meeting tight deadlines. This role requires high level analytic expertise, data management and problem solving.

In this role, you will:

  • Advise experienced leadership to develop or influence statistical modeling, analytical strategies, and advanced data visualization for complex business and technical needs

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques, advance data from multiple sources, and mathematics behind data analysis across the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and coordination of highly complex activities

  • Design and lead complex projects, analyses, and application of techniques across the enterprise

  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise

  • Engage with peers, managers risk, compliance, managers across the enterprise, and serve as an expert advisor to leadership team

  • Research complex data management issues

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling, Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 7+ years of hands-on programming experience using SQL

  • 2 + years of Python experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a digital product environment with some background in AI capabilities is highly preferred

  • Prior experience working with big data for strategy development in large, corporate/enterprise environments

  • Prior experience using data from MONGO (preferred), Hadoop (preferred) Teradata, or Splunk

  • Experience with Dremio or AWS

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to translate complex analytic insights into comprehensive terminology

Job Expectations:

  • Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. This includes all candidates requiring immediate sponsorship of H1-B, TN or E-3 visas as well as future sponsorship of STEM (F-1/OPT) visas.

  • Candidates must be willing to commit to working on site in either Charlotte, NC (Uptown location), New York, NY (Midtown Manhattan) or San Francisco, CA (Financial district).

Pay Range for New York, NY: $133,300 - 237,100

Pay Range for San Francisco, CA: $133,300 - 237,100
