Laguna Games, Inc. Senior Front End Developer in San Francisco, California
POSITION DUTIES:
- Design, develop, and create real time, large scale and highly interactive online games, utilizing the Unity Engine and blockchain technology to implement and integrate blockchain technology into game development processes;
- Design and implement secure and scalable blockchain solutions for game transactions and player interactions;
- Implement and integrate blockchain technology into games to enable features like in-game digital assets ownership, sales, transfers and other related transactions;
- Collaborate with producers, artists, designers and programmers to design and implement online game applications that involve scene states, animation workflow, art pipelines and sound integration;
- Review feature designs and provide input on costs and possible alternatives;
- Recommend and implement performance improvements to enrich online gameplaying experience;
- Collaborate with management and development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria and choose solutions; and
- Mentor and assist junior developers to provide them with technical guidance and technical skills training throughout the game design and development process.
- Telecommuting within the U.S. may be an option for this position.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree in game development, computer science or software engineering. 5 years of work experience in designing and developing online games, including experience of having completed at least one commercially released online game. Working knowledge of C#, JS and Python programming languages, Unity Engine and blockchain technology.
