We are looking for a program manager who is passionate about helping connect people to economic opportunity. This position reports into our social impact team, LinkedIn for Good, that sits within the Brand, Communications and Social Impact (BCS) department. The person in this role will manage both tier 1 and tier 2 partnerships across refugees, youth, formerly incarcerated in AMER, identifying ways to scale our impact (by creating shared resources, etc). This person will also be responsible for the design and implementation of the new LI Coaches benefit that each employee will be able to take advantage of as part of New Hire Orientation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead select nonprofit partnerships to connect underserved communities to economic opportunity, including refugees, youth, formerly incarcerated individuals, etc.

  • Identify and manage set of strategic corporate partnerships to integrate LinkedIn training into existing social impact and workforce development trainings

  • Own LinkedIn for Good s refugee partnerships with the Tent Foundation, IRC, Upwardly Global and others and oversee our signature refugee program, Welcome Talent

  • Develop and manage the partnerships strategy for the new LinkedIn Coaches New Hire Orientation program, identifying organizations to partner with on a regular basis.

  • Serve as a thought leaders in the workforce development space, representing LinkedIn externally on panels/event/media

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+years of experience implementing programs/initiatives in the corporate or nonprofit/public sector

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate in a highly dynamic, matrixed environment with competing priorities

  • Strong written and verbal communication, project management and planning skills

  • Manages ambiguity with confidence and composure

  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals and project milestones

  • Intellectually curious: appetite to actively learn and immediately apply learnings to make decisions and change behaviors

  • Passion for youth development or social impact programs preferred

  • Sense of humor
