Description
Key Responsibilities:
Docketing and File Management: Maintain all e-files on SharePoint, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
Legal Research and Compliance: Navigate citations effectively and ensure adherence to local rules, judge’s rules, standing orders, and federal district court requirements.
Filing Expertise: Handle filings in ECF (Electronic Case Filing) for federal district courts.
Document Preparation: Utilize Relativity to prepare and manage documents for database review and clean-up before filing.
Software Proficiency: Use MS Office Suite including Planner, Bookings, SharePoint, Teams, Word, and Excel to streamline workflows and communication.
Team Collaboration: Work with attorneys, legal assistants, and other paralegals to ensure smooth case progression.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, ideally in employment litigation.
Strong knowledge of ECF filing systems and federal district court procedures.
Proficiency in Relativity for document preparation.
Advanced skills in MS Office Suite and experience with SharePoint file management.
Familiarity with legal docketing, local court rules, and citation navigation.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a hybrid environment.
Flexibility to work additional days in-office when attorneys are present.
