Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a diligent Office Assistant in San Francisco, California. As part of our team, you will be working in a fast-paced office environment where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including expense report management, event coordination, vendor coordination, and employee interaction. This role will also require you to liaise with IT, support team meetings, and manage office supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage light expense reports.

• Coordinate and possibly oversee events.

• Act as the point of contact for vendor coordination.

• Foster positive relationships and effectively interact with employees.

• Serve as a liaison with IT for office-related tech issues.

• Provide support for all-team meetings.

• Ensure the office supply room is well-stocked.

• Maintain the office atmosphere by managing coffee and kombucha supplies.

• Utilize MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel to perform various tasks.

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor to contribute to a pleasant office environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in office administration tasks, including but not limited to data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.

• Demonstrated ability to use MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Advanced skills in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.

• Familiarity with general office equipment such as printers, scanners, and photocopiers.

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and clients.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve office-related issues.

• Proven record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

• Experience in customer service or front-office roles will be considered an advantage.
