Position Overview:
Responsible for the medical leadership, management and provision of services for Sutter's Employee Health San Francisco Market. This encompasses Sutter Health's CPMC in San Francisco, Novato Hospital, Sutter Santa Rosa Hospitals. This person assures that clinical services delivered are compliant with all laws and regulations. The position is 70% clinical and 30% administration with responsibility of Nurse Practitioner services. There are no direct reports to this role and is onsite full time in San Francisco with monthly one day trips to Sutter Santa Rosa Hospital and as needed meetings at Novato Hospital.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
Doctor of Medicine with active, current licensure in State of California
Occupational Medicine Board Certified
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
6 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Maintains a valid license to practice medicine
Works collaboratively with other medical directors. Coordinates issues which may be unclear with regard to responsibility
Maintains the highest standards of professionalism consistent with established policies and procedures
Accepts responsibility for all properly assigned tasks.
Accepts criticism well and makes sincere efforts to improve.
Knowledge of treatment and prevention of disease.
Good rapport, able to build trust with patients
Ability to effectively collaborate with other staff
Understands medical management principles and practices, financial processes, medical operations and planning (business and strategic), public relations
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing; negotiation skills; must be familiar with word processing and spreadsheet software; ability to analyze and interpret data and prepare concise accurate reports; flexibility in varying situations; ability to work independently and effectively under pressure; ability to organize and prioritize duties; ability to work well with other senior administrative and medical staff; willingness to travel as required; project management skills.

Pay Range is $151.92 to $243.07 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
