Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in San Francisco, California
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Manager in San Francisco, California. As an HR Manager, your primary role will be to support day-to-day HR operations for our team. You will also be responsible for managing benefits administration, handling vendor relationships, and serving as the primary contact for compliance, onboarding, offboarding, and employee inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Support daily HR operations and responsibilities
• Handle benefits administration and manage vendor relationships
• Serve as the primary contact for compliance-related issues and inquiries
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
• Respond to benefits inquiries and provide orientations as needed
• Assist in resolving employee relations issues
• Ensure regulatory compliance, conduct audits, and manage benefits-related documentation
• Handle bill reconciliation, onboarding, and census reports
• Stay updated with CA Laws and Regulations
• Manage the HRIS system, specifically ADP (though not a hard requirement) Requirements • Proven experience as an HR Manager, with at least 7 years in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now software.
• Extensive knowledge in managing benefit functions including medical, dental, and retirement plans.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
• Strong interpersonal skills for handling employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Proven experience in managing hiring processes, including recruitment, interviews, and onboarding.
