Position overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to join our client's team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with organizational goals and applicable laws and regulations.

  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.

  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.

  • Coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.

  • Provide guidance and support to management and staff on HR-related matters.

  • Conduct regular reviews of HR processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.

  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • SHRM certification or equivalent HR certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in human resources management, preferably within a non-profit organization or an environment encompassing diverse worker levels, including blue-collar personnel.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
