Description

Are you an experienced Corporate Paralegal with a keen interest in the construction industry? Our client, a leading San Francisco-based Construction Company, is seeking a talented Senior Corporate Paralegal to join their legal team and play a pivotal role in supporting their construction-related legal matters. This is a temporary/contract opportunity with the potential to extend or convert based on experience, candidates are required to report on-site in San Francisco five days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal support for construction-related transactions, including contract drafting and review, project financings, and regulatory compliance.

  • Conduct due diligence reviews for construction projects, including title searches, zoning, and permitting requirements.

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of construction-related documents, such as mechanic's liens, notices of completion, and construction loan agreements.

  • Coordinate closings for construction transactions and manage post-closing matters, including document recording and distribution.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date construction project files and corporate records.

  • Collaborate closely with attorneys, construction professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and ABA approved paralegal certification.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal, with a strong focus on the construction industry.

  • Proficiency in construction contract review and drafting.

  • In-depth knowledge of construction law and regulations, including lien laws and building codes.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in managing construction project documentation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
