The Trium Group Administrative Business Partner/Operations Manager in San Francisco, California

We are seeking a talented Operations Manager to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles. This role involves being involved in client relationships while handling the logistics of consulting and coaching engagements, client offsites, and business development. What We Are Looking For • 5-10 years' experience in executive administrative or project management roles • Exposure to strategy, business development, and high-profile external stakeholders at the C-level • A high level of emotional intelligence coupled with a detailed & analytical approach to your work • Hyper-organization and conscientiousness with outstanding execution skills • A confident and concise communicator, both written and verbal, who enjoys getting to know people and leverages strong EQ to establish new relationships internally and with clients • A strong initiative and “can do” attitude, with an ability to self-motivate, work independently and anticipate needs • A knack for getting in the weeds and taking immense pride in attention to detail coupled with the ability to zoom out to keep one eye on the bigger picture • A clear focus and passion around enabling people to do their best work • Interest in personal development & human potential and growth • If Bay Area-based, ability to be in the San Francisco office at least 2 days per week and as needed for offsites and important meetings The Role This role will support two Partners and their team and is highly involved in client relationships while handling the logistics of consulting and coaching engagements, client offsites, and business development. In this role, you will be responsible for enabling the Partners and project teams you support to focus on the most important objectives. This involves simultaneously maintaining long-range visibility into future needs and constraints, ensuring that the flow of work across many client engagements is being serviced, and managing a variety of internal operations projects that touch every part of the firm. Utmost professionalism is important, but also a casual comfort in your capabilities. Our team is centered around the SF Bay Area and Los Angeles. Our SF-based team has returned to the office two days per week and our LA crew has always been remote first. Candidates residing either in the Bay Area or LA are preferred. • Administration • Work closely with two Partners providing direct support around high volume scheduling, expenses, and correspondence • Draft articulate client communications for Partners and Consultants • Prioritize responsibilities based on shifting dynamics and proactively determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response with a high level of confidentiality • Serve as a primary point of contact for scheduling coordination with clients, prospects, and/or third-party vendors • Manage business development process, including updating Partners’ LinkedIn profiles, creating and maintaining contact lists for Partners, updating CRM, drafting business development communications, and driving opportunity tracking of potential business development and networking opportunities • Book domestic and international travel and plan/manage complex itineraries • Project Management • Adapt and collaborate within various project team configurations to execute all operational aspects of complex client projects from start to finish, including scheduling client diagnostic interviews and other client meetings • Accurately capture and synthesize large quantities of information during interactions with clients and EAs, internal team meetings, interviews, etc. • Coordinate events for internal and external activities, including space rental, catering, AV setup, collaborating with client teams, including travel to client sites as needed • Create clear, compelling, and visually appealing documents using PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other mediums to bring a story or concept to life • Build effective relationships with the support staff of our clients • Operational Improvement • Engage in special projects as needed for the firm • Work with the larger operations team to develop strategies and systems that elevate the firm’s capabilities for seamless operations internally and an excellent client experience • Be seen as a go-to resource on project and event logistics • Actively participate in and contribute to the culture of the operations community through collaboration, sharing of best practices, periodic facilitation of internal Operations meetings, fostering connection and relationship, supporting one another, etc. • Anticipate needs of Partners and clients - be the connecting thread and help to paint the full picture, providing perspective and advocating for changes in approach or plans where needed, ensure team stays on track for desired outcomes • Engage as a cross-functional ambassador, across multiple Partners and supporting teammates • Collaborate, partner, and pitch in; Everyone on the Trium team rolls up their sleeves, regardless of position, title, or experience, and is accountable for creating amazing experiences for our clients The Company The Trium Group is a West Coast-based management consulting and executive coaching firm that helps organizations solve their most complex strategic, operational, cultural, and leadership challenges. Details, Compensation & Benefits • Internal Title: Operations Manager • Location: San Francisco Bay Area (hybrid with at least 2 days per week in the office) or Los Angeles (remote) • Type: Full-time • Compensation: $110K-140K base salary. Based on pay transparency guidelines, a reasonable expectation for the salary range is listed. Actual base salary will be dependent on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and/or other job-related factors.
