Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in the Non-Profit industry, based in SAN FRANCISCO, California. The role involves accounting activities such as data entry, journal and manual entries, and reconciliations. The position is fully remote, however, the option to work in-office is also available.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process data entries related to accounting
• Conduct regular journal and manual entries to maintain financial records
• Carry out reconciliations to ensure accuracy in accounts
• Show attention to detail in all tasks to minimize errors
• Utilize Excel proficiently for various accounting tasks
• Adapt to different accounting software systems for efficient work processes
• Conduct account analysis to monitor customer accounts
• Resolve customer inquiries related to accounting functions
• Ensure accurate account coding for all transactions
Requirements
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Have a basic understanding of Accounting principles and standards
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Account Coding is advantageous
• Knowledge of ERP Solutions is beneficial
• Ability to perform Account Analysis and Reconciliation
• Experience in processing Accounting Entries
• Understanding of general Accounting Functions
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• High level of integrity and professionalism
