Robert Half Director of Communications and Marketing in San Fernando, California

Description

Operating in the non-profit sector, we are currently in search of a Director of Communications and Marketing. This role will involve planning, implementing, and managing marketing and communication strategies that support the goals of our programs, services, and annual donor event. The Director of Communications and Marketing will also play a key role in branding and positioning our organization, as well as engaging in community relations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic communication plans to promote our organization's programs and services

• Oversee day-to-day operations of marketing communications, including planning, research, analysis, and budget management

• Contribute to branding and positioning efforts to ensure the successful growth of the organization

• Engage in community relations and other strategic communication activities as required

• Demonstrate a strong understanding and implementation of social media in promoting our organization's mission and services

• Collaboratively work with agency executives and program managers to develop and implement tactics that support the organization's goals

• Utilize skills in areas such as Facebook Insights, Advertisements, Brand Awareness, Budget Processes, Campaign Planning, and Public Relations to effectively communicate and market our organization's initiatives

• Develop and manage digital collateral and content marketing efforts to increase brand awareness and engagement

• Oversee corporate marketing strategies and initiatives to ensure alignment with overall organizational goals

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a communications role within the non-profit sector (Bonus if have healthcare or Social Service experience)

• Proven expertise in Facebook Insights and Advertisements.

• Demonstrated ability in creating and promoting Brand Awareness.

• Familiarity with Budget Processes within a non-profit organization.

• Experience in Campaign Planning and execution.

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience in Public Relations, preferably with a Copywriter role.

• Ability to create and manage Digital Collateral.

• Experience in Community Marketing and Brand Marketing.

• Proficiency in Content Marketing and Corporate Marketing.

• An understanding of and ability to comply with non-discrimination policies.
