Program Summary
KBR will help sustain the well-being of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain, as well as Incirlik Air Base, Izmir Air Station, Office of Defense Cooperation –Turkey and the Ankara Support Facility also in Turkey. Job Summary
We seek an experienced and certified Electrical Engineer with the qualifications of Cathodic Protection (CP3/CP4) to join our team in Incirlik, Turkey, where you'll perform engineering and planning activities aligned with U.S. Air Force standards. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in cathodic protection systems, including design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The role involves ensuring metal structures' and pipelines' integrity and longevity through effective corrosion control measures. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex infrastructure projects and contribute to protecting critical assets.

Roles and Responsibilities
Create systems to protect metal structures, fuel pipes, etc. from corrosion
Perform corrosion surveys and inspections to assess the condition of structures
Oversee the installation of cathodic protection systems, ensuring they are correctly set up
Monitor and maintain systems, ensuring they continue to function effectively
Collect and analyze data to monitor system performance
Prepare reports documenting the status of corrosion protection systems and any necessary adjustments
Plan and manage cathodic protection projects, including budgeting and scheduling
Ensure all designs and operations comply with relevant safety and industry standards (like NACE/AMPP standards)
Develop safety protocols for cathodic protection systems
Provide technical advice to clients and in-house maintenance personnel on corrosion issues and protection strategies
Basic Qualifications
3 years of verifiable cathodic protection and design experience
Can perform, lead, and document basic to intermediate cathodic protection testing and/or inspection services
Valid NACE Cathodic Protection CP3 certification is required.
Proficiency in cathodic protection design software and testing equipment.
Strong understanding of electrical and corrosion control principles.
Familiarity with NACE, ISO, and other industry standards related to cathodic protection and corrosion control
Able to perform basic to intermediate commissioning activities
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering from an accredited college or university, or approved equivalent
Understanding of design functions and parameters
2 years of Electrical Engineering experience
Class B (passenger vehicle) driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as Cathodic Protection Technologist (CP4)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & AutoCAD or similar software
6 years of project engineering experience for major real property facilities
6 years of experience in design and management of construction projects
DoD installation-level experience
Experience in planning, programming, scoping, and executing multi-discipline facility and infrastructure projects
Familiarity with American and Turkish facility design standards
Knowledgeable in developing and executing multi-discipline construction projects, evaluating contract schedules, and preparing construction reports
Familiarity with engineering principles, materials, specification writing, USAF contracting procedures, engineering equipment, and surveying essential
Familiarity with construction practices in host nation (HN) preferred.
