U.S. Marine Corps SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in San Diego, California

Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will labor cost analysis involving complex and long-range fiscal program planning. You will validate calculations resulting from the civilian pay system DCPS, compare with manual calculations to pinpoint inaccuracies, and coordinate with appropriate personnel to ensure corrections are addressed to prevent from future occurrence. You will coordinate with the Human Resources and Manpower Offices to ensure accurate data interfaces with the time and attendance system and the civilian pay system. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative financial management methods of the organization's programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets, implement internal controls and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will assign work to subordinates based on employee's capabilities, priorities and difficulty. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Isolating and defining unknown conditions, resolving critical problems, and developing new theories concerning budget, accounting, and financial management programs. Examples of specialized experience include: Formulating budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities.
