Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a skilled and motivated software engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our Software Integration & Test team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in resolving software defects, integrating software components, ensuring seamless functionality, and conducting thorough testing to deliver, high-quality, reliable systems. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, and be eligible to obtain a Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (BS) plus 2 to 4 years relevant experience
Proficiency with one or more of the following:

Java Spring Boot
Strong debugging and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus
Knowledge of testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks
Experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving integration issues and software defects
Experience with version control systems, such as Git
Experience with Agile development and issue tracking systems, such as JIRA
Experience with UNIX and/or Linux
Self-starter with ability to multitask
Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment
Strong oral and written communications skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance
Security 8570 certification
Experience using SQL with RDMBS like Oracle
Proficiency in multiple high level programming languages (e.g., C , Java, Python)
Experience with geospatial data and/or large imagery archive systems is a plus
Experience with Cloud computing environments such as AWS
Knowledge of and experience with software design patterns and heuristics and their application.
Development methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, and/or Iterative)
Scripting and other languages (e.g., sh, csh, bash, ksh, make, imake, XML, HTML, CSS, and/or PERL)
Development tools and services (e.g., Eclipse, Spring Framework, JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, Maven, Ant and/or automated test tools)
Familiarity with server-side Java/JEE development
User Interface development tools for the JEE stack
Java Frameworks such as Spring
Open Source, software and services
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
