As a Software Engineer 2 developer For Service Mesh,we are looking for an individual that is a self-starter, with an engaging “can do” attitude, to work in our Developer experience organization, in order to help us solve some complex and difficult problems. You must be comfortable with looking at and working in legacy codebases and technology. You should embrace utilizing new approaches, ideas, and technology to solve challenging problems. A prime candidate is someone who is comfortable working in a variety of programming languages such as Java, Golang, etc. You will be deployed in ServiceMesh team which handles service-to-service communication over a network.
What you'll bring
BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
2+ years working as a software engineer, ideally using Agile/Scrum
Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application
An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with any of the following Object-Oriented Languages (OOD): Golang/Java/J2EE /C+
- Strong working knowledge of API development standards like REST/GraphQL protocol, pagination, throttling, caching and routing mechanisms.
Experience working with Cloud platforms like AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, or any other container platforms.
Experience with Istio is an added advantage.
Experience working with mature codebases
An understanding of unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics
Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers
Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies
