Purpose Statement

The Senior Manager of Product Marketing PCR and NGS for IDT’s global marketing organization is responsible for leading a global team of Product Marketing Managers and Scientific Writers, to develop and execute global commercialization and demand generation strategies for IDT’s existing and upcoming NGS/PCR products/solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and manage a growing, global team of product marketeers to develop and execute annual and agile marketing plans to drive growth through awareness, lead generation, lead cultivation and e-commerce for IDTs products and solutions

  • Apply and continually develop an expert level understanding of customer needs within core markets that utilize NGS, through direct customer contact and primary and secondary research, and translate those insights to steer effective commercial GTM efforts and content strategy/implementation

  • Guide cross-functional development of personas, segmentation strategies, buyers journeys, messaging and value props

  • Facilitate close relationships and business activities with key customers, vendors and industry groups alongside IDT leadership and commercial teams.

  • Own and be accountable for the success of marketing campaigns by using advanced digital tagging and metrics to ensure that key performance indicators are met, and campaigns demonstrate a positive return on investment.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in life science (biology, chemistry, biochemistry) or other relevant field

  • At least 7 years of experience in a combination of life sciences marketing and/or laboratory experience on clinical research or biotechnology

  • Demonstrated domain expertise in the application of PCR and NGS molecular biology workflows across clinical and biotech markets

  • Extensive experience with identifying market trends, defining marketing strategy, creating marketing plans, creating marketing content and executing marketing campaigns

  • 2+ years successful record managing direct reports and leadership across cross-functional teams/projects

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, PhD) in business or life sciences

  • Marketing regulated IVD products

  • Working directly with xGen or Archer NGS products

  • Life Science product management, market development or sales

The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $160,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
