Senior Manager Clinical Operations
Job Description
This role plays a crucial support function for the head of Operations and Clinical Science, who currently manages a significant amount of Pharmacovigilance (PV) tasks and requires additional support. The successful candidate will manage Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and Clinical Trial Assistants (CTAs), ensuring adherence to protocols and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include reviewing CRA trip reports, tracking protocol deviations, overseeing data entry in the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system, and ensuring that patient information is accurately recorded. The role requires direct management of CRAs and CTAs, with the potential for role evolution depending on staffing changes.
Hard Skills
Experience with CRA and CTA management
Proficiency in Trial Master File (TMF)
Experience with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems
Knowledge of oncology, safety reports, and Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) is preferred
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and management skills
Effective communication and reporting skills
Ability to adapt to staffing and role changes
Flexibility in working hours with a commitment to a full-time schedule

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in San Diego, California.
Work Environment
The position is 100% onsite with no flexibility in remote work, as the role involves training and supervising team members. While there is some flexibility in daily work hours, presence is required by 9:30 AM for morning meetings.
