General Summary:

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Studios is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to work directly with our Engineering Operations Lead in support of the Snapdragon Studios Ecosystem. The Engineering Operations team provides support around the world in helping drive game optimizations to create best-in-class experiences for the Snapdragon chipset.

Our highly creative teams are full of veteran game developers, artists, game engine experts and graphics enthusiast who work on our latest GPU and gaming hardware innovations around mobile, PC, and XR.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Using verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information about day-to-day activities to others who are fully knowledgeable in the subject area at times interfacing with senior leadership on the team and external customers.

  • Ability to drive small/medium sized projects with limited support.

  • Data analysis skills with ability to build dashboards and help create reports to create visibility for leadership

  • Working in SalesForce (Qsales) to help seed developers and Studios externally

  • Manage shipping process for team with support from shipping and logistics teams

  • Completing most tasks with multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.

  • Exercising some creativity to troubleshoot technical problems or deal with novel circumstances.

  • Using deductive problem solving to solve moderately complex problems; most problems have defined processes of diagnosis/detection; some limited data analysis may be required.

  • Responsible for tracking and resolving operational tasks/issues and assisting manager with Project Management or Operational requirements for team.

  • Contributes to and updates project planning activities (e.g., plans, schedules, and work breakdown structure) to support Project Managers or Leads on moderately sized projects or processes.

  • With support and guidance from managers, develops methods for tracking the progress and execution of moderately complex projects/processes and reports to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Gathers and analyzes information and data for basic patterns and comparison to identify potential project gaps and track project metrics; proposes solutions for problems of moderate scope and complexity, and leverages available resources to achieve resolution.

  • Assists with implementing new and established processes and methods (e.g. tracking tools, schedules, databases, documentation management systems).

  • Provides limited support to help resolve complex IT issues on the team with assistance from existing IT teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field.

OR

Associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience.

OR

High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qua lifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Project Management, Data Analytics, Reporting, Operations, Computer Science or related field

  • Highly proficient in working with Windows and a Technical background

  • Proficient in Data Analysis, Dashboards and creating reports

  • Familiarity with Project Management and Operations

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to track and record progress

  • Comfortable with technical instructions and procedures

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated and ability to drive projects with minimal direction

  • 4+ years of related work experience

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits :

$42.70 - $64.04

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
