ASM Global Security Supervisor in San Diego, California
The Full-Time Security Supervisor will supervise the Pechanga Arena San Diego 24/7 Security Officers and any other positions required during events. This position reports directly to the Security Manager and the Director of Guest Services & Security.
Responsibilities
Ensuring all 24/7 Security Officers are following and completing the policies and procedures of daily duties as detailed by the Security Manager
Creates detailed reports for all incidents that occur on-premises
Conducting weekly audits of Security Department documentation
Ensuring all Security Department documentation is neatly and accurately filed
Creating a monthly 24/7 Security Officer shift schedule
Conducting a weekly inventory of all Security Department supplies
Conducting daily inspections of all Security Department equipment
Submitting weekly summaries of 24/7 security operations
Patrolling all areas of the property including parking lots, securing property ingress/egress points, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises
Securing property during move-in/out of all shows, concerts, events, etc.
Conducts routine property walks throughout the facility
Conducts inspections and audits to assure the quality of service to personnel
Interacts with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees professionally
Appropriately deals with "unruly" people
Works independently, and can judge and assess situations for immediate response
Responds to emergencies while maintaining composure
Ability to work morning, day, and overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
A minimum education level of a High School Diploma or its equivalency
2 years of related work and supervisory/managerial experience
An understanding of the rule of law and relevant penal codes
Ability to lead employees to successfully meet Security Department goals
Ability to represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner
Ability to maintain good business relations with all the employees & managers in other departments
Ability to effectively perform in a crisis and work under pressure without loss of composure
Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information
Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons, etc. during intensely aggravated circumstances
Ability to maintain patron, employee, and company confidentiality
Must have a current BSIS California Guard Card
