This is a Casual Status also known as Per Diem position in Oceanside. The shift is 545-1900 in PreOp/PACU. The minimum availability is 4 shifts per month. There is possible on call Wednesday Nights only.

PACU at 78/Jefferson is a new service line supporting 4 ORs and 2 GIs Rooms. General Surgery, GI, Ortho, GYN, ENT, Sports Medicine, and total joints down the line. Within this role as a PACU RN, you will:
Within this role as a PACU RN, you will:
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice.
- Assessment, planning, and implementing a plan of care
- Manage associated paperwork; chart prep, order entry, prior authorizations, and medication refills as well as extensive phone communication
- Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Certification/Registration:
- Current CA RN license
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certificate and ACLS certificate
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- 1-3 years experience in PreOp/ PACU setting
- 3-5 years ICU/ER experience
