Description

Our client is a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering impactful programs and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a passion for advancing the nonprofit’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Develop and implement processes to improve operational workflows and productivity.

  • Monitor budgets and financial activities, ensuring alignment with organizational policies.

  • Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and support staff to ensure optimal performance and engagement.

  • Collaborate with department heads to address operational needs and challenges.

  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

  • Program Support:

  • Ensure operational support for program delivery, including logistics, resources, and compliance.

  • Assist in tracking program outcomes and reporting key metrics.

  • Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations and internal policies.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.

  • Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans to advance the mission.

  • Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and improvement in operations.

    Requirements

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the nonprofit sector.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

  • Familiarity with nonprofit compliance, grant reporting, and financial management.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
