Job Brief

Provide technical assistance on Navy ships for sonar equipment troublecalls

Amee Bay , a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Sonar Tech to join our team in San Diego, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

Representing Southwest Regional Maintenance (SWRMC) provide direct fleet support on the following surface ship Under Sea Warfare (USW) systems and equipment:

  • OK-410 Winch Maintenance and Troubleshooting expertise

  • AN/SQQ-89(V) 15 Anti-Submarine Warfare Systems

  • AN/SQS-53B and C Anti-Submarine Warfare Systems

  • TDSS Tactical Decision Support Subsystem

  • Multifunctional Tactical Towed Array

  • SVTT Surface Vessel Torpedo Tubes

  • Sonar Dome Pressurization System Operation and Maintenance

Support includes:

  • Assisting the shipboard personnel with systems operational tests

  • Problem identification

  • Troubleshooting

  • Performing corrective and preventive maintenance

  • Parts procurement and all associated documentation

Further follow up documentation will be required within the SWRMC databases such as FTS/TA&R and the possibility of generating TAVRs.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • Must have high school Diploma or GED

  • Must be familiar and comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically EXCELL and WORD.

This position is located in San Diego, California.

This position pays $32.30 - $39.50 per hour DOE (depending on experience).
