Job Brief
Provide technical assistance on Navy ships for Hawklink troublecalls
Ghostrock, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Navy Hawklink Technician, to join our team in San Diego, Ca.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide technical services representing SWRMC Engineering Department and other duties as assigned.
Provide both on-board, and distance-support technical assistance with direct fleet support of a wide variety of equipment and components for surface ships over their extended operating cycle.
Provide services as a system and equipment evaluator and/or inspector for major assessments such as INSURV, C5RA and TSRA.
Responsible for one or more of the following systems, their operating software and interfaces, and critical sub-system topology:
Hawklink, to include AN/SRQ-4 and Tactical Common Data Link (TCDL)
Tactical Variant Switch (TVS) AN/USQ-155
Single Audio System (SAS) SA-2112(v)/STQ
Along with the knowledge of the above systems the technician must have knowledge of:
Electronic equipment and systems design and testing concepts,
Troubleshooting and maintenance theories and practices of hardware and software associated with the specified equipment.
Highly specialized level of theories, practices, and techniques to include but not be limited to the following cross disciplines: acoustics, electronics, electrical, thermal and piping systems and associated interfaces.
Position Requirements:
US Citizenship;
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret level clearance; person's currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance preferred.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Navy C Schools related to the specific equipment.
8 – 12 years’ work-related experience maintaining & operating Hawklink and associated systems and equipment.
Ability to pass a background check.
Ability to pass National Agency Check.
Valid US Driver's License.
NECs related to the specific equipment.
Position located in San Diego, CA.
The hourly rate for this position is $39.50 - $47.80 based on experience.
