Robert Half IT Controls Analyst in San Diego, California

Description

We are in the process of recruiting an IT Controls Analyst for our team, based in San Diego, California. This role will be centered around tasks within the financial services industry, where you will be instrumental in managing the IT General Control Library and ensuring IT systems comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the IT General Control Library, aligning strategic and tactical initiatives.

• Identify, assess, and recommend mitigation strategies for risks related to IT controls.

• Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

• Document and manage general controls effectively.

• Investigate, analyze, and document control issues and inconsistencies.

• Execute data security, backup and recovery, system operations, and network security controls related to SSAE16/18, FFIEC, SOX, and ISACA/COBIT frameworks.

• Evaluate third-party information security posture and design IT controls based on business risk.

• Support the development and implementation of IT general controls in IT intake projects.

• Collaborate in the development of the company-wide framework, including components of ITIL / COBIT/ and ISO disciplines.

• Monitor the resolution of issues resulting from audits and examinations.

• Serve as an advisor on IT control-related matters and act as a functional liaison to line of business resources.

• Monitor industry best practices to assist in maintaining a risk-based approach to infrastructure practices.

• Provide training and support to staff on compliance requirements and best practices in IT general controls.

Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required for this role.

• Familiarity with Archer is essential for executing daily tasks efficiently.

• Comprehensive understanding of CobiT is a must to ensure the highest standards of work.

• Experience with Concur is a significant advantage for this position.

• Strong CRM skills are necessary to manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Knowledge of AML - Anti Money Laundering is essential to ensure compliance with regulations.

• Demonstrated experience in Auditing is required to maintain the accuracy and reliability of information.

• Ability to perform Commission Functions is necessary for this role.

• Experience in Complaint Handling is required to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
