LMI Aerospace Information Security Analyst in San Diego, California

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Position Description

Directly support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Comptroller at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, California. Duties will include:

  • Serves as a liaison between FRCSW customers and NCTS San Diego and coordinate with NCTS for work order closures, turnaround times, estimated costs and final billing. Ensure that all project work orders are completed by NCTS, and that the customer is satisfied that the work is completed per their request.

  • Support FRCSW customers with various telecommunication systems to include MS Teams, telephone lines, conference bridges and other web conferencing tools.

  • The contractor shall provide technical guidance to the local and remote users, coordinate with far-end locations to schedule, configure and connect Microsoft Teams.

  • Attend customer meetings to determine phone requirements. Assist customers with filling out phone request forms. Respond to emails pertaining to phone requests.

  • Complete site surveys, designing solutions based on requirements, estimating, and installing.

  • Ensure timely escalation and management of technical and service shortfalls to relevant technical support teams for resolution and for future prevention.

  • Administer/schedule Command Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Secure Video Teleconferencing (sVTC) Systems Support

  • Operate VTC/web conferencing equipment including powering up the equipment, checking proper operation, setting audio levels, positioning camera functions, performing secure or non-secure setup; operate or assist in operating session control panel, studio control unit, and high-resolution graphics.

  • Create, update, and maintain SoPs and instructions to support command users with VTC/sVTC functions as well as telephone requests.

  • Track all phone trouble calls and work orders from start to finish. Provide spreadsheet of all open and completed telephone work when it is requested.

  • Maintain master FRCSW phone listing which includes all emergency lines, persons assigned to the phone number, building and competency and code.

  • Track active/inactive phone lines to assist with the land line elimination effort.

Current Secret clearance is required.

No per diem. Work location at NAS North Island, CA area. Start date is ASAP.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

Has three (3) to 10 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) and a background in cybersecurity technologies/policy organizations.

Minimum Education Requirements:

BS or BA degree in a Computer Science or "Relevant Technical Discipline".

Minimum Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, in an office environment.

Base Salary Range: $34.00-$39.00/ her hour

This base pay range is specific to residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Washington, and any other state that may require such disclosure. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
