We’re looking for a forward-thinking self-starter who has experience translating customer insights into strong marketing plans, with a reputation as a multiplying leader and talent magnet. You will be responsible for leading our tax acquisition team and driving rapid revenue and customer growth.
What you'll bring
10+ years of business experience leading marketing strategy development and cross-functional execution, with 5+ years managing direct reports
Strong go-to-market and product marketing craft and a demonstrated ability to develop the capability in others
Integrated marketing and communications acumen translated into the ability to write clear and compelling creative briefs
Strong influencing and communications skills across all levels up to executive
Track record of being a multiplier and talent steward, building highly performing teams
Experience using deep customer insight and data to inform segmentation, targeting and positioning, and translating strategy into roadmaps and actionable, cross-functional go-to-market plans
Ability to prioritize and make strategic choices, specifically narrowing from a range of opportunities to highest-impact levers, balancing short- and long-term business outcomes
Ability to identify big insights by synthesizing inputs from multiple data sources to unlock growth opportunities and developing the business cases and activation plans to support
Strong experimentation and testing skill set with the ability to teach others
How you will lead
Lead a team of product and growth marketers through career development, performance management with ongoing coaching and feedback
Gain deep customer insights, product expertise and competitive intelligence to inform a segmentation strategy and go-to-market plan for new offerings
Develop winning product positioning and influence the product roadmap to deliver on the biggest customer needs
Brainstorm and execute against big bold ideas to drive rapid growth of the tax acquisition business
Own the business outcomes and communicate regular updates to senior leadership through ongoing forecasting, reporting and root cause analyses
Partner closely with cross-functional teams spanning marketing, product, design, analytics, finance, legal, sales and customer success
Actively analyze data to generate insights and make fast, informed decisions that drive business results
Build a high-performing, development culture by building go-to-market best practices, capabilities, and up-leveling the team’s marketing craft
